The down has been treated with DOWNTEK® to eliminate its sensitivity to moisture. Normally, when down comes in contact with moisture, it loses its loft and thus loses its ability to insulate. The water-resistant DOWNTEK® treatment allows down to maintain its density and loft to keep you reliably warm even in wet conditions. Not only that, the treated down is machine washable and dries much quicker, too, without losing its water-resistant properties.
Underarm and where athletes tend to sweat a lot, as well as at the shoulders and at the hem, where durability is demanded, highly breathable and rugged PrimaLoft® Gold insulation has been used. This makes the down jacket more versatile and long-lasting.
