This insulation resembles the structure of down and offers the packability and comfortable feel of down. Since however it is a synthetic fill, it is more resistant to moisture and always keeps you warm even in uncomfortable weather conditions. In addition, it offers easy care and can be laundered in the washing machine.
On the sides and back, a breathable stretch nylon has been integrated, which allows fast wicking of moisture and offers huge freedom of movement. A treatment on the outer shell means this vest gives you light weather protection. You can wear this as an outer layer over a base layer or fleece as long as the weather is half-way settled.
